1. Hungani Ndlovu

Hungani Ndlovu is a trained actor, dancer and presenter. Hungani started dancing at a young age which led to him develop a keen interest in the arts. He spent 3 years in the USA studying his craft and working in LA and NYC.
He plays Romeo Medupeon Scandal ETV.

Hungani’s first lead role TV was in Memoir Of An Honest Voice, which went on to be nominated for Best Short Film at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2015. The film was also nominated in three more festivals in the US. You won’t believe it that the Scandal! acting job is Hungani Ndlovu’s first television job. Now he is one of SA’s loved villains on TV.

2. Wiseman Mncube

Wiseman Mncube is a South African playwright, director and actor best known for playing the role of Sibonelo on SABC1 soapie drama Uzalo.

Born in 1990, Wiseman Mncube is one of the talented actors and directors in South Africa. He is becoming one of the favourite faces on TV dramas and soapies. From directing big plays to winning awards, Wiseman is a force to be reckoned with.

3. Xolani Mayekiso

Third on our list of Most talented South African actors is Xolani.Xolani Mayekiso is a South African actor famously known for his starring role as Thato Maake on the Mzansi Magic soapie, The Queen. He graduated from AFDA with a BA in Live Performance. He was born in QwaQwa and was raised by her mother in Harrismith.

Xolani Mayekiso made his first appearance on the show in Season 2, Episode 72. Originally recurring in Season 2 and the first part of Season 3, he was promoted to series regular during the third season.

4. Mpho Sebeng

Mpho Sebeng is a South African actor best known for his television roles as Siso Ledwaba in Zero Tolerance (2001-2006) and as Slay in Soul Buddyz, in 2011. Mpho was born in Soweto and raised in Witpoortie, Randburg.

Mpho Sebeng has scored many roles and is currently playing Goitse on The Thorne. His interests besides acting are script writing, photography and directing. Mpho has a passion for the arts and wants to play a role in the growth of the industry in South Africa.

5. Paballo Mavundla

Paballo Mavundla is a South African actor best known for his role as Nkosana, one of Bheki and Ma’Mngadi’s three children, in the Mzansi Magic supernatural drama series The Herd. He currently plays a varsity student, Jerah Moroko aka Crazy J on the TV series Generations: The Legacy. He was born and comes from Meadowlands in South Western Soweto in Gauteng Province.

Paballo completed a Bachelors Degree in dramatiz arts from the National School of Arts in 2017 and having graduated, The Herd was his first professional screen role as the rebellious and naughty teen, Nkosana where he had fans delighted.

6. Ishmael Songo

The actor started off as an extra on Rhythm City, but now he’s one of the most loved characters on the show. While studying at AFDA a lecturer told his class that Rhythm City was looking for a character named Emmanuel. He auditioned, but didn’t get the role. He then heard about Sabelo’s character, and tried his luck again.

7. Mpho Sibeko

Mpho Sibeko is a South African actor. He is best known for his roles as ‘Azwi’ on e-TV’s 4play: Sex Tips For Girls, ‘JT’ on Rhythm City, and ‘Mo’ on Gauteng Maboneng. … In the series, the South African actor played the role of Thembi Mandela, Nelson Mandela’s firstborn son.

8. Zamani Mbatha

Zamani Mbatha (born 7 April 1998) is a South African actor. He is best known for his character in the Isithembiso telenovella as Zamani. His sister Nomzamo Mbatha is also an actress.

9. Themba Ntuli

Themba Emmanuel Ntuli is his official name. He is popularly known to many as Themba Ntuli, although some people refer to him as MrMbus. Themba was born on August 9th, 1990.

Themba Ntuli is best known for his recurring role as young car guard Pule, on Rhythm City, from May to June, 2008. He is also known for his roles in television commercials for Sunlight and SABC2 among other things. Themba holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Directing, Writing and Television Production.

10. Tshepo Senatle

Tshepo Senatle. Tshepo Joseph Senatle is a young and rising South African actor famously known for his role as Koloi in the SABC1 weekday soapie, Skeem Saam. Tshepo Joseph Senatle was born in Ottosdal situated in the North West.

The Skeem saam actor worked at a panel beater when he got the call that changed his life. Tshepo Senatle started acting at recreational halls, now he is on TV since joining popular drama Skeem Saam. The 23 year old plays Koloi Shivambu. He started doing extras on the show, and his talent earned him a permanent and bigger role.
