Meet Scandal ‘s Lindiwe Ngema and Her Boyfriend In Real Life

Nomvelo Makhanya is an actress best known for playing Lindiwe Ngema on Etv Scandal. She started acting on the show when she was less than twenty and she is now twenty-six. Lindiwe Ngema’s character is of a very cheeky and nasty girl with no boundaries. But over the years, we’ve seen the character grow, graduating from high school, going to college, and getting married. In other words, we’ve seen Nomvelo Makhanya grow on our screens.

Personal life

She was born on 24 April 1996 at Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. After a few years, she moved to Johannesburg with her parents.

In 2016, she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. However, after several consultation sessions, she overcomes the mental depression. In January 2019, an alleged drunk driver crashed into Nomvelo’s parked car. In February 2019, she expressed her emotional message through social media, that she has been cyber bullied because of her head.

Career

She joined the National School of Arts (NSA) in Braamfontein, Johannesburg under the guidance of her mother. Then she performed in the musical ‘Sarafina’ and thought to pursue herself as a professional artist. Later she joined several theater productions such as The Bald Prima Donn, African Reflections, and Maybe This Time. In 2016, she played the role of ‘Lindiwe Ngema’, in the eTV drama series Scandal!.

As an adult she’s in a relationship, she is someone who is open when it comes to her love life. She posts and shares pictures of herself and her partner. After she broke up with her ex last year she started dating a young man named Simiso Ngwenya.

Simiso is not a celebrity, but he is a successful businessman in his own right. He is the brains behind the famous #BAPS clothing line. His clothing line makes casual, comfortable clothing from bucket hats, tracksuits, T-shirts, sweaters, and shorts. Celebrities like DJ DBN Gogo, Kwesta, Nomzamo Mbatha, Maps Maponyane, and Natasha Thahane, only to mention a few.
