Former Uzalo Actress Fikile Returns To TV As Bazo On Isifiso, And Her Salary Is Revealed

Nelisa Mchunu is a South African model, MC, motivational speaker and writer, actress popularly known for her role as Fikile on Uzalo, has reemerged on television carrying a suitcase. Nelisa, who has been absent from public view since her last appearance on Uzalo, reappears in the new Mzansi Magic drama series Isifiso (Desire).

The actress from KwaZulu-Natal portrays Bazothini in the new Mzansi Magic drama series Isifiso. In Isifiso, Bazothini or Bazo is a sly character who at first appears to be a meek and unhappy sibling. During the premiere episode of Isifiso, Bazo’s mother, Mangobese, criticizes her (Duduzile Ngcobo). She is frequently criticized for marrying a poor man, Mhlengi (Ntando Mncube), and compared to her younger sister Nobuhle (Mbalenhle Mthembu), who married a wealthy man, Siboniso (Melusi Yeni). Bazo worked hard for her family, but her mother did not recognize her efforts. Mangobese insulted her daughter’s rise to supervisor at work and arranged for her to work as a maid for her younger sister.

After yielding to her mother’s pressure, Bazo murdered her sister by pushing her down their stirs to gain her husband’s attention.

Nelisa has played minor roles in Generations The Legacy and Isidingo, but Isifiso is her most notable performance to date. Nelisa is the highest-paid cast member with a salary of R69 000 in the drama series Isifiso, despite being surrounded by more experienced actors Duduzile Ngcobo and Ntando Mncube, who play supporting roles. Nelisa, who has had a distinguished career thus far, becomes an instant fan favorite while portraying Fikile on Uzalo.
