Bro Kop From Rhythm City joins Muvhango

Setlhabi Taunyane

Setlhabi Taunyane is a South African actor best known for his role as Kop Khuse in the e.tv soapie Rhythm City, since 2007. Setlhabi is from Johannesburg. He has appeared in the TV shows Soul Buddyz (Seasons 1-4), Justice For All (Season 2), Isidingo, Hard Copy and the 2007 SABC1 mini-series Society. He acted alongside Danny Glover in the feature film, Where Others Wavered. Setlhabi has performed in stage productions in America, Canada and Australia.
His talents include singing, dancing, playing bass guitar, percussion and drums, and mime. He also writes and arranges music, and is a playwright and director.

The canning of once popular etv soapie Rhythm City saw many of the actors disappearing from our TV screens. Viewers have not been able to see Setlhabi Taunyane, who played the popular character of Bro Kop. Bro Kop was one of the most affluent characters on the Rhythm City soapie and he never put a foot wrong. Good news is that Bro Kop is returning to the small screen. He is set to join SABC 2 drama series Muvhango.

This was confirmed by Muvhango on the official Facebook and Twitter platforms. “Introducing a new character “Uncle Letsatsi” who will be portrayed by the legendary Setlhabi Taunyane” said Muvhango.

Fans were quickly to Welcome Taunyane back to TV.
