Actors Who Are Joining and Returning to Uzalo

Seasoned TV and film actor Jet Novuka has joined SABC1’s popular soapie Uzalo. Monwabisi Mgcanabana is a South African actor also known as Sir Jet Novuka. Novuka, who has appeared in films and TV dramas, is one of the new faces we will be seeing in the new season that starts towards the end of the year. He will be playing the role of captain Yamkela Mpambani on Uzalo.

Another actor who will be returning to Uzalo is Nomcebo Gumede who plays the role of Mumsy, the woman who turned Uzalo Mastermind’s world upside down and made it a mess.

While the show will be welcoming new talent, Uzalo will be saying their goodbyes to stars like Nomcebo or Mamfundisi, played by Nombulelo Mhlongo and Khanyile brothers – Thulane and Siyabonga, played by Thulani Shange and Sizwe Khumbuza.

A month ago, it was reported that the Khanyile brothers are leaving the soapie,.Indeed they’ll be missed by viewers for taking down the KwaMashu’s biggest thug- Nkunzi.
