ACTRESS Gugu Gumede (30) has announced the exciting news to her fans. She is pregnant and cannot wait to meet her unborn baby. The Uzalo actress, who plays the role of MaMlambo, shared the news on Instagram where she said her unborn baby\u2019s heartbeat gave her strength after her mother, National Freedom Party leader Zanele KaMagwaza-Msibi, died.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

She said she prayed for a baby and God answered. On Uzalo, MaMlambo left KwaMashu for Ndwedwe to visit her spiritual guide Gogo Menziwa. After a series of bad luck in her life which saw her jailed for kidnapping allegations and nearly implicated in the Red Pill drug syndicate, MaMlambo felt the need to consult her ancestors again.<\/p>\n

Gugu posted a photo wearing a black dress in which her tummy looked big, sharing that she was due to give birth soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor this child, I prayed and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked for Him,\u201d she captioned the photo.<\/p>\n

She further said even her mother prayed for this baby.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have often been asked where I got the strength to continue after my mother\u2019s passing. I got it from my unborn child. At her funeral, as I stood at the podium speaking on my queen\u2019s behalf, I was not alone.<\/p>\n

The strongest heart was beating inside of me, reviving me. I am alive because of it. My baby, you are your grandmother\u2019s answered prayer. She was so excited to meet you. Even though you did not get to meet in the physical realm, I know she is currently holding you in the spiritual one,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

The excited mum-to-be said her unborn baby\u2019s kicks and moves were a testament to God.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Daily Sun, she said she has been waiting for the perfect time to reveal the pregnancy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who are close to me knew all along. But I wanted the public to know at the perfect time. I will give birth soon and please, let me not reveal the gender as I want it to be a surprise.
