Netflix has at last released a trailer of their African original series, Blood And Water, which is expected to launch globally on May 20, on the American streaming platform. The coming-of-age mystery drama set in Cape Town. Blood & Water teen-series features stars like Natasha Thahane, Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema, and Gail Mabalane. Netflix released a very fascinating trailer of the series and this has left many singing praises and anticipating its launch.

The Netflix series basically tells a story of a 16-year-old, Puleng Khumalo (played by Ama Qamata), who gets herself transferred to Parkhurst College, to investigate the case of her sister who was kidnapped at birth.

“Blood & Water” is directed by one of South Africa’s most well-known and respected black female directors, Nosipho Dumisa. She is the Best Director, Fantasia International Film Festival She is the award-winner. The series is produced by Gambit Films led by Bradley Joshua and Benjamin Overmeyer as producers, with Daryne Joshua & Travis Taute as co-directors and writers and Simon Beesley as the lead editor.
