RIP- Skeem Saam Is Again Mourning The Death Of Another Cast Member In 2021 After Losing Some Last Year

This pandemic has affected thousands of people, who are either sick or are being killed due to the spread of this disease. The most common symptoms of this viral infection are fever, cold, cough, bone pain, and breathing problems, and ultimately leading to pneumonia. When the covid-19 pandemic came to South Africa in 2020, 21 days lockdown was introduced in March.

Many people wanted the year to pass so that we can go to 2021 with the hope of it being a wonderful year not knowing that is going to be worse than 2020. The pandemic seems like is not going to leave any time soon as more waves are coming every month. Despite the vaccination of people, the number of infections is going up every day while the deaths due to the pandemic are also raising.

The SABC1 popular soapie Skeem Saam is one of the shows that lost some of their members during the pandemic but not due to it. The show started by mourning the death of Karabo Makhubela who was playing the role of Jazzy T. Karabo passed away in July 2020. Karabo was 40 years at the time of death.

Karabo’s death came three months after the death of another cast member Charles Maja who was playing the role of Big Boy who was Leshole’s father. Charles was one of the most favorites actors. Charles passed away in April 2020 after he suffered from a stroke. Maja passed away at the age of 54 years.

Again in December 2020, the show lost another legend. Ntate Paul Rapetswa was also part of the cast. Rapetswa was playing the role of Malome Josias. He was Koko Mantsha’s brother and Charity’s uncle. Rapetswa sadly passed away in December when he was 70 years old.

The show has recently lost one of the best actresses last week. Nokuzola Mlengana passed away earlier last week as she was suffering from Pneumonia. She was well known for her role as Sis Ouma on the show. She was only 58 years old at the time of her death. She was laid to rest on Friday in Eastern Cape.
