Muvhango: Itseng’s lies catch up with her but who is she more afraid of, James or Mother?

South Africa was recently introduced to the talented, Botswana-born actress, Angela Atlang when she left viewers shocked with her seductive nature as Itseng Motsamai (James’s estranged sister) on the SABC 2 soapie Muvhango. Muvhango is one of SA’s biggest and most loved soapies and for Angela, getting a role on the soapie is a dream come true. Especially, since she auditioned on the soapie almost three years ago, but only got her big break in 2021.

When Itseng made her debut on Muvhango, it was clear that she was trouble in the making. And she proved those theories right. Itseng decides to lie to James about Mother. She knows how dangerous these people are and doesn’t want to put her family in any further danger.

Itseng thinks that the only way to keep everyone safe is to disappear. Never in his wildest dreams did James, with all the money in the world and designer suits, think that he’d be running around the streets of Johannesburg searching for his sister.

He senses that she’s in danger. “James is her brother. He panics when he doesn’t find Itseng. It chows him,” says Dingaan.

James realizes that as a family, they’ve done damage by not being there for her and throwing money at her. They should have protected her.

Now if only James’s money could help him find Itseng before Mother punishes her for running away.
