It has been reported that the former ‘Uzalo’ actress Dawn Thandeka King, who played MaNgcobo in the soapie has returned after ‘Diep City’ cancellation. Dawn Thandeka King, (born 01 October 1977 in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa), actress and media personality best known for playing the role of MaNgcobo in SABC soapie drama Uzalo and as Thandiwe on Mzansi Magic new telenovela Diep City.

Talented and most loved actress Dawn Thandeka King, who plays Thandiwe in DiepCity and played the role of MaNgcobo in Uzalo has reportedly returned to the SABC1’s soapie Uzalo.

Mzansi Watch has reported that the actress Dawn Thandeka King, who left Uzalo in 2021 as MaNgcobo to join Mzansi Magic’s canceled telenovela DiepCity as Thandiwe, may return to Mzansi’s most-watched soapie.

The publication adds that the actress might start making appearances in Uzalo in March 2023.

Fans of the SABC1 hoped the actress would return to her villainous character as her character never got killed when she left in 2021. We all can’t wait for her return.
