Meet Mazet: Gomora’s Beautiful Siphesihle Ndaba

Siphesihle Ndaba is a South African actress best known for playing the role Mazet on new popular crime series Gomora that aired on 30 March 2020. Siphesihle Ndaba went to The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (OWLAG) for high school. The Mzansi Magic’s Gomora has become the best show in Mzansi and fan favourite. Gomora is much loved because of it’s the captivating storyline and the infusion of new faces onto the TV screens. One such face is the beautiful Siphesihle Ndaba.   • She’s beautiful and hot, but Siphesihle Ndaba is also refreshingly a down to earth lady. 
  • Siphesihle Ndaba, who plays Mazet, has also been the talk of the town since she joined Mzansi Magic Gomora.

  • Siphesihle was raised in Johannesburg, Soweto by her single mother and grandmother.
  • The actress has two older brothers. Guess what, Siphesihle has 18 siblings with whom she shares a father.
  • Siphesihle attended her high school at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy. While studying at the academy, Siphesihle was part of the school’s jazz band.
  • The Gomora actress studied at Rhodes University. She pursued a Bachelor of Social Sciences undergraduate degree as well as an honours degree. She’s got both the beauty and brains.

  • Sihle almost studied towards a Bachelor in Music. She was once a music student at OWLAG and was also in a jazz band, played in the Johannesburg Schools Orchestra. However, she changed after realising that amusic degree wouldn’t work out for her.

  • In an interview with News 24, Siphesihle revelled that Ndaba and Mazet have something in common. “We are both born and bred in the townships. I was born in Soweto and Mazet was born in Alexandra. But we both know what we want. We are both willing to work towards our goals, we like our own space. But once we open up we are able to be vulnerable and break down the walls around us.”
  • One of her greatest highlights was writing and directing a production on rape culture on campus for the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown during her second year.
