Noughts + Crosses

Noughts and Crosses is a British television adaptation of the first book in the novel series of the same name by Malorie Blackman. The series is basically a speculative fiction set in an alternate history, where black “Cross” people rule over white “Noughts.

On the Noughts + Crosses, series, South African Masali Baduza (Trackers) and BAFTA winner Jack Rowan (Born To Kill, Peaky Blinders) play Sephy and Callum, two star-crossed lovers in the tradition of Romeo and Juliet. Sephy is the privileged daughter of the Home Secretary, Kamal Hadley, while Callum’s mother, Meggie, is the Hadleys’ housekeeper. While Sephy and Callum grew up together, they may as well have lived in different worlds.

Primal Season 1

Primal (which is marketed as Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal) is an American animated television series created and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky. It premiered on October 7, 2019 on Adult Swim.

Insecure Season 4

Insecure Season 4 was created by A Black Lady Sketch Show executive producer Issa Rae and Black-ish producer Larry Wilmore

Insecure series focuses on friends Issa (Rae in a Golden Globe, Emmy and Critics Choice nominated performance) and Molly (Black Reel awards nominee Yvonne Orji).

Best friends Issa and Molly belong to the same social background and face similar experiences. They always strive to find solutions to their problems by facing them together.

The Case Against Adnan Syed

The Case Against Adnan Syed series is directed by Academy Award-nominee Amy Berg, four-part documentary series The Case Against Adnan Syed explores the 1999 disappearance and murder of 18-year-old Baltimore County high school student Hae Min Lee, and the subsequent conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed.
