With so many people being indoors these days, DStv is now given more attention by the nation. Well, this is better because at least DSTV viewers will be getting their money’s worth during lockdown. DStv prices for the next 12 months have been revealed, after wholesale increases came into effect on 1 April 2020. The new rates will see subscribers pay a little bit more on most packages, whereas two services are offering a “pay freeze”.This article serves as a guide to new prices will affect you.

Which DStv packages are now more expensive?

DStv packages like Premium and Compact Plus are the ones that will increase in price. Premium and Compact Plus customers will now have to payout out R120 more for the year ahead. On the other hand, Access clients will now have to pay R60 more for access to the broadcaster.

The Family package customers will experience the biggest rise, This will be in terms of both its monthly amount and DSTV Price percentage increase (it’ll cost R140 more over the next 12 months).
